GEOMETRY OF TIME PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP IN THE DURMITOR MOUNTAINS August 15–22, 2026. Virak Village, Durmitor, Montenegro This seven-day intensive workshop is designed for photography students and those who wish to develop their photographic thinking in visual anthropology, with a focus on landscape photography and portraiture in the landscape. The workshop takes place in the authentic setting of the Durmitor Mountains in Montenegro and in a shepherding village that has served as the base for the BART Summer Academy since 1999. The workshop offers an opportunity to experience field photography, connecting nature, the culture of the shepherding community, and the photographic reading of the landscape.
